"A space where you can breathe deeply, relax fully, and feel calm and energised — this is what we strive to create with every home we work with."
ABOUT THE MINDFUL EDIT
Making space to flow
I believe a well-designed home is the foundation for living well. When a space is cluttered or out of sync, it can create stress and stagnation. But when everything is considered, curated, and connected to the way you want to live today, your home has the power to lift you up the moment you walk through the door.
It isn’t about chasing trends or striving for minimalism for its own sake. It’s about reimagining your space with fresh eyes – bringing your home and existing belongings to life in a way that feels intentional, inspired, and personal.
I’ve seen firsthand how a well-designed home can shift not just the space but the way you feel in it. The idea of bringing more calm, creativity, and joy into people’s lives is what drives and inspires me every day.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED…
I’ve moved more times than I can count. Growing up with parents who loved renovating homes, I became an expert at packing, paring down, and turning freshly painted spaces into something that felt like home. Each move taught me what really mattered - not just in what we keep, but in how a space makes us feel.
These experiences laid the foundation for my work today. My career in graphic design sharpened my eye for detail, while working in events and campaign planning instilled in me the precision and creativity, needed to bring a vision to life. A pivot into personal training reinforced my understanding that lasting transformation – whether in our bodies, minds, or homes – happens with patience, empathy, balance, and intention. Renovating my own homes and working as a stylist for a bespoke furniture design company brought me back to my roots and deepened my passion for curating spaces that don’t just look good but feel restorative, calming, and completely in tune.
The Mindful Edit brings all these experiences together – a reflection of my belief that if home is where the heart is, it should be a space that truly supports you: somewhere that feels good, personal, and uplifting; a foundation that nurtures and grounds you, and a sanctuary you’re proud of and can lean on every day.
"No more searching for lost keys or struggling with cluttered drawers - everything just flows."
What I've learned along the way...
It’s Not Just About Decluttering – It’s About Curation
Like our many moves, life is about refining what we surround ourselves with. It’s about curating the things that bring comfort, meaning, and happiness. Every item in your home should serve a purpose or make you smile. It’s about creating a home that reflects what matters to you and nurtures the life you want to live.
Function and Beauty Go Hand in Hand
We feel our best when our home feels as good as it looks. Even a beautifully styled space can feel unsettling if clutter lurks behind the scenes, while an impeccably organised home may still feel incomplete without the personal touches. The magic lies in balancing design with organisation – thoughtful storage, smart layouts, and those unique details that reflect who you are.
Embrace Imperfection
As a busy mum, I’ve learned that life rarely allows for perfection, and that’s a good thing. A home feels most soulful and alive when it reflects real life, from a well-loved rug to a fridge covered in your child’s artwork. When we let go of perfection, we make space for a home that feels warm, effortless, and inviting.
Small Changes Make a Big Difference
Often, it’s the smallest tweaks – like organising a drawer, adding a touch of greenery, or finding better storage – that breathe new life into your space. These small victories bring a sense of relief and joy, turning your home into a space that works for you.
Lean into Your Personal Style Over Trends
Over the years, I’ve learned that the most beautiful and meaningful homes aren’t the ones that follow trends—they’re the ones that reflect and evolve with the people who live in them. When you let go of the pressure to ‘get it right’ and instead focus on what feels right, you create a space that’s effortlessly stylish, deeply personal, and always in tune with you.
There is Therapy in the Process of Decluttering
I’ve discovered that decluttering is not just about clearing physical space. There’s something freeing about the process of clearing away what doesn’t serve you. It’s like shedding old skin, creating room for new ways of living. In that space, you feel lighter, more focused, and more aligned with what truly matters. It’s about choosing to keep only what nurtures you and letting go of the rest.
